About David Harris
I've tasked myself with dealing with Mental Health in construction. David Harris.
OtherHaving worked in construction for 22 years and having struggled with mental illness throughout my career and suffered a stress related heart attack. Im now on the otherside and training to be a counsellor.
This has inspired me to tackle the lack of support and stigma in the industry. With 47% of the industry self employed and with the highest rate of male suicides, things need to change.
I have started a campaign with in the Industry, called Gotcha, and we are offering mentoring, support and training In how to deal with pressure and wellbeing.
Would you be interested in my story?
Cheers.
David Harris.
